Blueprint Technical Requirements
Optimal settup
For regular usage, such as creating cases, uploading and downloading files, collaboration and communication, as well as Smile Design and Video Simulation, Smilecloud is entirely web-based. This means that a standard laptop or desktop computer will work without any issues.
The only requirements are:
- A modern web browser (Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Opera)
- A stable and reliable internet connection
However, for Blueprint (3D Design), higher processing power is required.
Recommended processor specifications:
- Apple / Mac: minimum M1 processor
- Windows (equivalent to Apple M1):
- Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite / X Plus (best ARM equivalent)
- Intel Core i7 (12th generation or newer) – e.g. i7-1255U, i7-1260P
AMD Ryzen 7 (6000 series or newer) – e.g. Ryzen 7 6800U
These configurations ensure smooth performance when working with 3D design workflows.
