With Smilecloud’s new Paid Partner feature available for the Business Plan, laboratories and specialists (like surgeons) can now sponsor Partner Access for their collaborators.

Imagine this:
You're a dental lab, and your clients—general dentists—are hesitant to join Smilecloud. But you know that working together in one digital workspace leads to fewer errors, faster approvals, and a much smoother workflow.

Now you can take initiative.

You, as the lab, pay for your dentist’s Smilecloud access.
The dentist gets a free collaboration account, where they can:

Create cases
Upload photos, scans, and documents
Communicate, review, and download.

And most importantly: they own the data.

The case lives in their account, under their name. You are simply enabling the collaboration.

Who Is It Best For?

✅ Dental Labs

Pay for your referring dentists so they can send you case data, and requests—all through Smilecloud.

✅ Surgeons

Sponsor accounts for your network of referring general dentists. They can send you surgical cases, files, and pictures to review and coordinate care.

Sponsor access for your partner dentist or specialist

They get a Smilecloud account with collaboration tools (free to them)

They create cases, upload files, and share them with you

If the doctor later wants full features (like Smile Design, Video Simulation, or 3D file review), they can subscribe independently

When that happens, your cost decreases automatically, and their ownership stays intact

How to use it

The Paid Partner option is available for Business subscriptions. Here is how to set it up:

Access your account
Go to Plan & Billing
Select Add & Manage Partners

Buy the number of seats you need

Once your new seats are confirmed, add the email of your partner and Invite.
