If your account was created before June 26, 2025, you’ll notice a few key updates to your interface following the Smilecloud YES launch:

🧭 1. Legacy Smile Design Has Moved

• The original (legacy) Smile Design is no longer directly available in the Projects section.
• You can still access it by re-enabling it in your Settings

The new Smile Design experience is faster and more automated—while still giving you full control to edit every step.

📦 3. Libraries: Smarter Downloads

You can now download the tooth libraries with relative size and position preserved—perfect for layered planning.

When moving to 3D, don’t forget to adjust positioning to account for Field of View (FOV) changes from 2D to 3D.

🎥 4. Brand-New Video Simulation

Bring cases to life with photorealistic before/after simulations that enhance patient communication.

This feature is available only for new designs (not compatible with legacy designs).

📁 5. Drop-in Chat: Share More File Types

You can now drag & drop unsupported files directly into your project chat—perfect for formats like .xml, .mod, .nef, or .raw.

Files stay available for download for 7 days

👥 6. Shared Collections for Teams

For multi-member Business accounts, you can now create Shared Collections—ideal for aligning on consistent cases and styles across your team.

Private collections are still available.
