# What is Smilecloud Passport 

A 360° digital experience for Patients

### Overview

Smilecloud Passport is the **patient-facing companion app** of the Smilecloud workspace. It allows dental teams to share complete case information securely and directly to their patients’ phones. Passport transforms the patient experience by giving them a clear, visual, and organized way to follow their treatment journey.

### Key Features

-   **All files in one place:** Patients can access their X-rays, CBCT/DICOM scans, intraoral scans, photos, videos, and documents (PDFs) from one app.
-   **Visual simulations:** Patients can review smile designs and treatment simulations presented in a timeline/story format, helping them better understand their options.
-   **Secure communication:** A built-in chat enables safe, GDPR-compliant conversations with the dental team.
