# Generate and share a video simulation

Learn by Doing

Bring your smile design to life with before-and-after video simulations, then share the design with your patient.

Once your smile design is ready, click the **play icon next to the design name** at the top left.

Click **Video Simulation** to open the generation dialog. Select the subscription you want to use, then click **Start**.

Smilecloud will generate short videos based on the before-and-after images. This may take a little while.

Return to **Projects** and select your design. Open the **three-dot menu**, choose **Share with patient**, and follow the on-screen steps to complete sharing.

Your generated videos are saved in **Documentation**, in the design’s **B&A (before-and-after) gallery**. Open the gallery and click a video thumbnail to play it.
