# Blueprint Technical Requirements

Optimal settup

For regular usage, such as creating cases, uploading and downloading files, collaboration and communication, as well as Smile Design and Video Simulation, Smilecloud is entirely web-based. This means that a standard laptop or desktop computer will work without any issues.

The only requirements are:

-   A modern web browser (Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Opera)
-   A stable and reliable internet connection

However, for **Blueprint (3D Design)**, higher processing power is required.

**Recommended processor specifications:**

-   **Apple / Mac:** minimum **M1 processor**
-   **Windows (equivalent to Apple M1):**
    -   Qualcomm **Snapdragon X Elite / X Plus** (best ARM equivalent)
    -   **Intel Core i7 (12th generation or newer)** – e.g. i7-1255U, i7-1260P

**AMD Ryzen 7 (6000 series or newer)** – e.g. Ryzen 7 6800U

These configurations ensure smooth performance when working with 3D design workflows.
